A Special Note From Lights on the Court
Over the last few months much thought went into the future of the show. We know how much the community loves the light show and wanted to continue to offer the light show but were unsure if this would be possible. Today, I am happy to report that the “show must go on” and we are continuing this joyous family tradition. Look for more details and schedules in the coming weeks. I can tell you that this year’s show will be drastically different in anticipation for our ten year anniversary next year. We will be removing several elements to make room for some new surprises. Thank you for continuing sharing the holiday season with us and we hope to see you this Halloween and Christmas!
The holiday season is fast approaching, and as always we're kicking it off big! Our Christmas light show, named 'Lights on the Court', has been carefully planned and thought out over the last eight years.
There have been a number of new additions as well as new music. This year the show includes ten songs. Each song is about two minutes to keep your attention. The songs also cover a wide range of genres to be sure there is a little something for everyone, and of course there is Christmas music!
This year there is a total of over 8600 lights, up 1600 from previous years. Our show includes color for many of its elements! This means that for each element we had to string up three sets of lights and run three extension cords. Speaking of extension cords, this year there is over 2275 feet of it! Be sure to check out the FAQ section for more interesting facts about this year's show.
Please consider contributing to help cover expenses related to improving 'Lights On The Court'.
